State of Green was created from a love of stylish and unique home and baby products, an interest in innovative design and a desire to live a more sustainable lifestyle.

Like anyone we love to shop, but for the well being of our future environment we believe consumer habits need to change. Rather than tell people to stop shopping, we want to showcase the great modern lifestyle products which are sensitive to the environment, your health and fair-trade work conditions. We want to encourage people to start shopping …... responsibly.

There are many talented designers who are helping make the dream of living a more responsible, sustainable lifestyle, a mainstream reality. To help you purchase responsibly, State of Green has sourced innovative products from Australia and around the world. All our products are selected carefully, and must satisfy one or more of the following criteria:

Recycled or Recyclable

Organic (from certified sources)

Natural (made from 100% natural products)

Non-Toxic and Bisphenol A Free

Produced under Fairtrade conditions

Sourced from low impact / renewable sources

Encourages waste reduction / energy reduction

At State of Green we recognize that some products have greater ‘eco’ credentials than others. To help you make your choice, each State of Green product has a detailed description of its materials and source. We believe every little bit counts and together we can leave a smaller footprint on the planet. Our mission is to provide you and your family with a contemporary range of products that possess environmentally friendly features and allow you to live in a healthy and responsible way.

At State of Green we recycle where possible, minimize paper use and only use recycled or recyclable paper products. Our posted items use a combination of new and reused cardboard boxes and our suppliers original packaging. We also use enviro bubble wrap, if necessary, to protect your goods. We encourage our customers to further recycle our packaging, so together we can minimize wastage.
