Zaishu embodies the best in Australian design. Far more than a brand or a series of products, Zaishu is a philosophy believing the things we surround ourselves with can be made sustainably without compromising their design or quality. Plantation-grown timber and organic hemp are used to make their pieces locally which are then printed by hand in their coastal studio using waterbased inks.  Since 2004, Zaishu has involved a diverse range of local and international communities as well as fellow artists and designers to create their iconic designs.  The results have been exhibited by numerous international galleries as well as Sydney's Powerhouse Museum which holds several in its permanent collection.
