Modern Nursery Furniture
If you have ever been in the market for nursery furniture, you would know it is dominated with traditional slat style cots, with an occasional cool Scandanavian design thrown into the mix. Well there is now a new entrant on the market that is not only Australian designed, but incredibly stylish AND they have been designed with sustainability in mind.
The Ubabub Pod (above): Love these rooms!
The Ubabub “Nifty Clear” & “Nifty Timber” - How would this look in your home?
Husband and wife team, Daniel and Natasha Dumais were frustrated at the lack of stylish nursery furniture available for their contemporary home. With combined backgrounds in business logistics and graphic design (great combination!), they set about creating the Ubabub range (pron: oobabub) which are bound to be a stand out feature in any child’s bedroom.
The Ubabub “Nifty” nursery range
The Ubabub range has pretty good eco credentials: The timber plywood components have been sourced from renewable plantations, each cot is finished in non toxic finishes, and all plastic and metal components have been selected for their recyclable properties. The Mattress is also hypoallergenic treated, anti-bacterial, anti dust mites, anti mould and anti mildew!
You also have to love that there is no need to rush out and buy a single bed when your little one starts growing up before your eyes – these cots grow with your child as they have the option of converting into a junior bed – extending the functionality of these beautiful pieces even longer……and then I am sure there will be a long line of friends & family lining up for a quality hand me down!
And bringing the range to an even higher level of style – The uber cool artwork
Daniel and Natasha have also created a unique gallery of artwork to dress up your walls. All designs have been printed with vegetable based ink and Ubabub carbon offset the printing process!
The Ubabub range is made in China. Find your nearest stockist at Ubabub.
