At State of Green we share with you news of great sustainable design products and services, interview inspiring sustainably focused designers, and let you know about fun eco events happening around Australia and its surrounds. Our aim is to help you continue to live a modern lifestyle, whilst treading a little lighter on the planet through making informed purchasing choices, and showing you where to find some amazing products and participate in fun events.
At State of Green we have a small team of contributors writing about all sorts of eco / sustainable design from lifestyle products, to architecture, fashion, kids, book reviews and sustainable events happening predominantly in Australia.
If you design or know of a great sustainably designed product, house, event etc do let us know and we will consider it for a feature!
If you would like to share your brand with our readers, we also offer sponsorship banners and would love to help you spread awareness of your sustainable product. Pop on over to our Sponsorhip Page to learn more!

CONTRIBUTORS
Jenny Tranter – Founder
Jenny Tranter founded State of Green in early 2010. It started with a small online eco store, showcasing some of her fab finds which were modern in style but light on environmental impact. It then gently evolved into a separate blog/passion sharing with others her local eco design finds and the amazing creative people she came across. Educated at Monash University (Arts-Social Sciences) and Deakin University (International Business), she resides with her family in Melbourne. Jenny’s love of the environment is rooted in her childhood filled with happy yearly adventures in a yellow combi van to Byron Bay, bush walking and cross country skiing on the Victorian highplains and whiling away the day on clean sandy beaches.
