Read on to learn a little more about Ramona…….

I started my business because… of a “wish list”.  I wished for a baby’s nursery to blend seamlessly into the remainder of my house…for it to possess style, playful expression, colour & sweetness…for it to have the same level of design consideration as my kitchen or bathroom…and most importantly, for it to be organic.  The idea that many others may also have this “wish list” spurred me on to launch Anton’s Lane.

I admire… everyday mums because they are everything to everyone.  They are teachers, carers, chefs, home-economists, entrepreneurs, wives & daughters.  They are expert jugglers who manage to divide their time amongst so very many things.  I found that I didn’t fully appreciate my own mother until I became one myself!

My style is… contemporary with an environmental conscience!  This means many things to me – sleeping in luxe organic bedding, finding unique and quirky items that were designed lovingly and produced in a sustainable way, and giving a new lease on life to an antique find.

My favourite annual event is… Australia Day!  With this day comes an annual pilgrimage of family & friends to the local park – playing Frisbee, kicking a ball, and eating sausages in bread.

My easy eco living tip is… even the smallest change to your lifestyle can make the world of difference.  Try using green bags for grocery shopping, put a bucket in your shower to catch the grey water, find your green thumb & grow a vegetable or herb patch, and turn lights out when you’re not using them.

When I was a kid I loved… nothing more than spending hot steamy summer afternoons eating watermelon and splashing in the pool.  Not a care in the world!

In the next year I hope to… keep doing exactly what I’m doing!

Thanks for sharing Anton’s Lane with us Ramona!
