In January we have some great new products arriving at State of Green. The first to arrive are the Calafant recycled cardboard model toys. These models will occupy your kids for ages as it provides three activities in one. Construct (no glue!), Decorate, Play! The models come in three sizes: small (includes 6 textas), medium (includes 12 textas) and large (paint with your own watercolours and crafts!). The Calafant Models make excellent presents across a range of age groups and budgets. Why not host your own party where each child makes their own model and brings it home at the end (no need for lolly bags!), or give out as a special party game prize! The medium and large models are also a great rainy day project for brothers and sisters to complete together or for when the new baby comes home…Our three little testers aged 3, 4 and 6 years old required a little adult help assembling the medium Rosegarden Palace (constructed in under 5 minutes), then spent the afternoon colouring in, opening the doors and windows, and introducing lego and dollshouse toys (aka princes & princesses) to the turrets and hallways. The sturdy cardboard is robust, and lived to survive many more sessions of imaginative play and decoration. Was an all round winner!
