Every year, the Salvation Army distributes over 250,000 toys and hands out approximately 150,000 food vouchers. We can all help them out this year by donating non-perishable food items and toys to spread the Christmas cheer. They are also looking for volunteers to assist in distributing gifts and provide meals at a number of kiosks around Australia. Click here to register your interest.
There is also plently of time left to donate a gift to the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal, Australia’s largest gift appeal now in its 22nd year. Kmart aims to collect more than 400,000 gifts for Australians in need.
