Gifts that give a little more!

This Christmas, why not give gifts that make a real difference to the lives of those who receive it.

Oxfam Unwrapped makes it easy to give a Christmas gift that appeals to both young and old. This year you can purchase cattle manure to help farmers in Sri Lanka, a duck to provide families in Mozambique with eggs and income, a piglet to provide income to Vietnamese in mountain regions or a goat which can be sold to raise money for school fees or tools. Every year, the Salvation Army distributes over 250,000 toys and hands out approximately 150,000 food vouchers. We can all help them out this year by donating non-perishable food items and toys to spread the Christmas cheer. They are also looking for volunteers to assist in distributing gifts and provide meals at a number of kiosks around Australia. Click here to register your interest.
